….HELP A DONKEY
Our most important objective is the continued welfare and care of the donkeys and as many of you will know, to do this takes a great deal of care, time and money.
The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary is delighted to pass on details of our latest fund raising initiative, which will not only help our support the donkeys in our care, it will also help you, our kind and generous supporters in ensuring that should the worst happen, your family is not burdened with the task of trying to sort out your estate without the provision of a will being in place.
We have agreed very special terms with Crossman Giles Will Writers, which mean that for every Will, Lasting Power of Attorney, Codicil, or additional service provided, the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary will receive a generous donation.
In addition, as a special thank you to you, Crossman Giles Will Writers have agreed to offer generously discounted terms, significantly lower than the costs normally charged for these services.
The importance of making a Will cannot be overstated and whether you are young or old, the untimely loss of someone close is distressing enough, but for many, knowing that if the worst does happen, knowing their financial affairs are taken care of, can offer peace of mind.

Gift Aid
As many of you will already know, if you are a tax payer, we can claim an extra 20p for each £1 you give. Gift Aid is a scheme that allows any charity to claim a refund of tax the donor has paid on the money donated. You must have paid, or will have paid, sufficient tax to cover your donation and that tax can be on income, investments, or on Savings and Building Society accounts or on capital gains. The completed form, printed here is required by the Inland Revenue as your declaration that you wish the charity to recover tax. So if you would like the charity to benefit in this way, please complete the form and return to us when making a donation to the charity. A form will also be supplied with future Adopt a Donkey Renewal Forms.
