11.04.08 - Cherry & Jacko News
Many of you have understandibly enquired about Cherry and Jacko, as they have now been removed from the Adoption List. Both of them have been moved to the Geriatric Unit Herd as they are now very elderly and receiving TLC. Both are no longer available to new adopters, however, those of you who have already adopted them please continue as normal. Thank you so much for your support in this.
11.04.08 - Jenny Sadly Missed
I am sad to write that Jenny the donkey passed away in February. She has been with us for many years and was a much loved member of our donkey family. In a very short time she experienced excessive weight loss and the vet made the decision that it was kinder to let her go peacefully.
11.04.08 - Dogs Allowed On A Lead
Many of you have been asking via letter and email whether dogs are allowed at the Sanctuary; well, dogs are allowed, as long as they are kept on a lead.
11.04.08 - New Tractor
The Sanctuary would like to say a big thank you for all your support, as a new arrival in the form of a new tractor was a welcome sight this winter. The Sanctuary’s old tractor has been a workhorse for many years but sadly was becoming prone to increasing breakdowns and repairs. [Read More]
06.11.07 - 2008 Calendars
Many of you have enquired about a 2008 Calendar after last years 2007 Special Edition was released. As you may know, we only produced this calendar for our Special 20th Anniversary celebrations. Unfortunately, we cannot afford to produce a calendar each year as we do not make any profits for the donkeys when they are not all sold. As a consequence we shall not be producing a calendar every year...only for special occasions. Thank you for your support in this.
15.10.07 - Farm Appeal
The current total so far raised for the Farm Appeal amounts to £20,050.00. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all of you for all your generous donations. The Farm Appeal is still going strong; we'll keep you updated on any news relating to the Farm Appeal in the Donations section of the website.

2008 Animal Service - Sunday 13th July 2008
This year's Animal Service will be held at the Sanctuary on 13th June 2008.
Rev. Ann Faulkner will once again be taking the service. This will be an informal, open air service so please bring a blanket/chair.
All pets are welcome to come along.
Everyone Welcome!
SAE

Thank you to all those who kindly supply (SAE) Stamped Addressed Envelopes when writing to the sanctuary, or when requiring receipts for donations made.
As you can imagine we have thousands of letters every year to reply to and so by providing a SAE you can save us a sizable amount on postage costs. Every penny is precious! Thank you.

LETTER
To all the people at the Sanctuary.
Thank you very much for my certificate - it's gorgeous!
Archie is also very sweet! How old is Archie?
Every year in August we go to the Isle of Wight. We will come and see Archie then.
Thank you again.
Yours sincerely
Holly de Looze
